Abstract

With the emergence of Nanotechnology, there has been remarkable improvement in the field of drug delivery system over the past decade. Nanotechnology in drug delivery system is an upcom-ing field and significant research has been conducted in this regard. It has been able to overcome some limitations encountered with the traditional routine drug delivery systems and hence emerged as an effective alternative. This article reviews nanotechnology based different types of drug delivery systems and their therapeutic applications.
