Abstract

In this introductory chapter, the editors set the scene and discuss the current legal and policy challenges to the use of AI in the media sector and identify the need for rethinking rights and responsibilities as well as ways in which reconstruction of rights and obligations is already taking place. The content of the book is briefly introduced.
