Abstract

This research aims to measure the performance of students through the use of various electronic devices such as smartphones, tablets and laptops. The study is applied on a sample of 1250 students during the first semester of 2022 in a public university. The survey covers 30 questions that rate how important learning is. It compares the overall mean performance (t-test) of two groups, one with the mobile learning model approach and one with the conventional model. The results show that the two groups differ significantly in their mean creativity and collaboration scores. The mobile learning has higher mean scores on creativity and the conventional model has higher scores on collaboration. Half of the teachers reports that 70% of the students improve their creativity skills. It is concluded that the mobile learning approach has a direct impact on creative and critical thinking skills.
