El Unomásuno y el Nuevo fotoperiodismo mexicano

Abstract

Estudiar el diario Unomásuno es clave para entender el nacimiento y desarrollo del Nuevo Fotoperiodismo mexicano. Este artículo busca analizar su fundación, línea editorial y discursos visual y escrito para entender la importancia que tuvo dentro de la historia del periodismo mexicano de finales del siglo XX, en el marco del gobierno de José López Portillo y la escena cultural y social de México en el momento en que la fotografía iniciaba el despegue y auge que la caracterizó en las décadas de los ochenta y noventa.A study about the newspaper Unomásuno is key to understand the birth and development of the New Mexican photojournalism. This article seeks to analyze its foundation, publishing line and visual and written discourses to understand the importance it had inside the history of the Mexican journalism at the end of the 20th Century. In the framework of the government of José López Portillo and the cultural and social scene of Mexico at the moment when photography began its takeoff and boom that characterized it in the decades of the 80's and 90's.
