Abstract

Reports the combined use of training in a simulated setting and trainingin a natural setting to teach 2 autistic adolescents in special educationhow to ride the public buses. Behavior shaping in a training room,an immediate-prompt procedure in the natural setting, and a self-monitoringprocedure were used with a boy aged 13 yrs 11 mo and a boy aged 15yrs 8 mo.
