It is important for clinicians to understand and to take advantage of new imaging techniques available for the management of skin cancers. There is little written in either skin cancer or radiology texts on the topic of imaging in head and neck skin cancers. This chapter is an attempt to find a common ground between the disciplines of surgery and radiology so that each may communicate more effectively with the other, thereby benefiting patient care and health-care costs. © 2010 Springer-Verlag New York.
