Abstract

Cervical Cancer is one of the most common types of cancer in the female Mexican population, and unfortunately, in almost half of all cases, the patient presents with locally advanced clinical stage, therefore being familiar with all radiotherapy techniques is crucial in order to give our patients the best possible outcome. Stage by stage the possibilities with radiotherapy treatment are so many: from conformal radiotherapy to the most modern techniques such as stereotaxic radiotherapy and IMRT are tools that we can use depending on the clinical scenario, and all those type of treatments are described and discussed in this chapter. What is the most important thing to remember is that every patient is a different case and we always have to individualize treatment to get best results.
