Abstract

User-centered design (UCD) is the core concept embodied in emotional experience design research. Throughout the development process of product design, the center study of contemporary products has transferred from the product life cycle to the ease use and now to the user emotional demand of products. This paper attempts to study users' emotional experience contained in product design from sociology, behavioral economics and aesthetics perspective, to provide theory basis for contemporary emotional experience design. © 2013 Springer-Verlag.
