Abstract

Climate change and global warming have an impact on the development of the tourism sector. Tourism village development programs must align with ecological interests and politics to align with tourism and environmental sustainability. This study aims to analyze adaptation and mitigation in efforts to develop agro-Tourism. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data was collected through interviews, involved observation, and FGD. The location was chosen purposively, namely agro-Tourism Ngargoyoso, Karanganyar, Indonesia. Research informants were obtained through purposive and snowball sampling of village heads, youth leaders, tourism awareness groups, and community groups. Data validity was determined using source triangulation and method triangulation. Data were analyzed using the interactive Milles and Huberman data analysis model. The analysis results show that the community has adapted to maintain the sustainability of tourism objects by managing irrigation water, selecting plant varieties, planting annual crops to prevent landslides, and marketing and processing crops. Mitigation includes making appropriate infrastructure easy to reach for visitors to tourist attractions.
