Post-pandemic architecture and planning is one of the most crucial and controversial issues in the feel of academic discipline and professional practice. This research is to outline the characteristics of a healthy approach toward the industrial heritage buildings, monuments and sites. The research aims to propose a framework for the post-COVID reopening of the industrial heritage monuments and sites. One of the most famous monuments, among the shared-heritage of Iran and Belgium and France - the Sugar Factory of Kahrizak – is adopted as the case study of the research which is an important site for reopening nationally and internationally. The methodology of the research is based on the high-performance architecture theory and the well-building framework. The results of the research show the capabilities of the well-building framework for outlining the pathway for the facilitating the post-COVID reopening of the Sugar Factory of Kahrizak.
