A case study on regression model based outlier detection

Abstract

Based on the introduction of the state-of-the-art outlier detection technologies and their principles, a regression model based outlier detection method is illuminated particularly. Then we apply this method to detect the outliers of energy consumption data of a real coke-oven plant to find an effective energy saving way for the plant. © 2012 Springer-Verlag.
