This chapter deals with the statistical analysis of parameters that are playing the vital role during the production of titanium-rich slag in moving bed plasma reactor. The parameters, viz., degree of metallization, charge, bed speed, and input power are studied on their effect on the production of titania-rich slag. Statistical design of experiment technique was used to optimize different parameters using design Expert Ver. 5 software. Optimization was carried out to maximize iron recovery, production rate and minimize energy consumption in a moving bed reactor to produce titania-rich slag. Experiments were carried out to produce TiO2-rich slag from pre-reduced (metallized) ilmenite. In this chapter, results have been analyzed with two-level factorial central composite designs with considerations of optimized parameters.
