Abstract

This paper establishes the mathematical model of the AC induction motor, and according to the basic principle of rotor indirect field oriented vector control, a simulation model of the AC induction motor control system in low speed electric vehicles was established with the help of MATLAB/Simulink software. Simulation results show that this control used in a low speed electric vehicle has excellent static stability and dynamic response, such as the speed and torque response is quick, and the speed overshoot is small, which reveals the practicality and validity of the developed model, the results also provides a foundation for design and debug of low speed electric vehicles motor control system.
