Abstract

Defining a right quality approach for the multiple environments generated by the use of ICT in education, access to information and training, requires a systemic analysis and the choice of a set of references and values in order to define the good criteria to be retained. Focusing on the satisfaction on the various customers all along the offering, the quality approach presented has been elaborated by a team of “quality” and “e-learning” experts under the leadership of Le Préau (the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry e-learning Resource Centre). Built from the return of field experiences and a rigorous quality methodology, the quality tool generated is organised according a two fold approach: a process and a quality as- surance approach. Since its publication in February 2002, this model has been largely implemented by e-learning designers and providers, used as an evaluation tool for the improvement of existing disposals or as a decision making tool for customers in need of a pertinent offering.
