Abstract

The paper describes a rare clinical case of inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor (IMFT) of the breast in a 70-year-old woman. Ac-cording to the data available in the world literature, IMFT is a very rare disease. The complexity of diagnosing this tumor and the need for comprehensive examination engage attention. By taking into account the fact that IMFT may recur, which is clinically proven, an adequate surgical intervention volume of remains one of the main tasks of choosing a treatment policy in this category of patients.
