Abstract

The paper focuses on managing most important (class A) fast moving inventory items. A multi objective cuckoo search optimization is used to determine trade off solutions for continuous review order point, order quantity stochastic inventory system. A numerical problem is considered to illustrate the results. The results show a number of pareto optimal points are obtained using cuckoo search multi objective algorithm on a single run, which provides the practitioners flexibility to choose the optimal point.
