Abstract

Following the pilot carbon market, China officially launched the construction of a national carbon market in December 2017. This paper mainly analyzes the construction of national carbon market and the development status of pilot carbon market, and puts forward the main problems faced by the construction of national carbon market. This paper holds that the national carbon market has some difficulties in its own construction, such as total amount setting and quota allocation, and also faces the problems of coordination between carbon market and electricity market, carbon price and electricity price.
