Abstract

Occipital neurostimulation (ONS) or greater occipital nerve (GON) stimulation offers the potential for a minimally invasive, low risk, and reversible approach to manage-intractable headache disorders. It has been used successfully in the treatment of occipital neuralgia, migraine, cluster headache, and other headache disorders. © 2011 Springer Science+Business Media, LLC.
