Abstract

With the rapid developments of technology, the current smartphones generally equip various functions such as the locational sensors, waterproof, and shock resistance. On the other hand, the conventional disaster applications need certain skills to operate IT devices, and it is considered that there are significant problems of the usages by the injured victims or the information illiterates after disasters. Therefore, this paper proposed the static body detecting methods by locational and rotational sensors on a smartphone for the effectiveness of the DTN (Delay Tolerant Networking) based disaster information system. Thus, the paper firstly discussed the anomaly detection methods for the proposed static body detections, and it reports the prototype system based on the outlier values of the locational and rotational sensors. Then, the results of the field experiments are discussed for the evaluations and the future studies of the proposed methods.
