Edible fungi’submerged ferments contain a variety of bioactive substances. Corn silk was used as the medium component instead of some wheat bran, which lowered the cost of industrial production. The contents of flavonoids and soluble protein in fermentation broth were the main reference indexes to determine the optimal inoculum amount, culture time and the ratio of corn silk and wheat bran. On the basis of single factor experiments, orthogonal test with four factors and four levels was carried out and combined with the method of overall balance analysis to obtain the optimal medium formula: 3% wheat bran, 12% corn silk, 0.5% yeast extract, 0.15% KH2PO4, 0.05% MgSO4. Confirmed experiments were 1.551 mg/mL flavonoids and 0.691 mg/mL soluble protein. The ferments were rich in nutrition, which will provide the resources for the development of animal’s characteristic feed.
