Abstract

In nuclear medicine all studies are dynamic. This may seem like a controversial statement as most studies performed in nuclear medicine departments consist of a single static scan. However, even in this case, the temporal dimension plays an important role in terms of the time point for the scan after administration of the tracer as well as its length. © 2011 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
