Abstract

This article builds bridges between entrepreneurship, compassion, and anti-consumption literatures to offer new perspectives in the emergence of pro-social organizations, a phenomenon that is not yet well understood. We conduct a qualitative study of Som Energia the first renewable energy cooperative founded in Spain in 2010.
