Summary With contributions from international experts in hyperspectral data, this book demonstrates the experience, utility, methods and models needed to study terrestrial vegetation using hyperspectral data. Each chapter focuses on specific applications, reviews existing knowledge, highlights the advances made, and provides guidance for appropriate use of hyperspectral data in the study of vegetation. The book considers numerous applications including crop yield modeling, crop biophysical and biochemical property characterization, and crop moisture assessment.
