Abstract

An RF remote control based phase selector system was developed. The system is designed with few semiconductors and electromechanical devices. The semiconductor devices includes 555 integrated circuit, 4017 decade counter integrated circuit, transistors and diodes while electromechanical switches used were relays and contactors coupled with other electronic devices. Result shows that, the system starts switching sequentially from one output stage (Phase) to another whenever it senses an RF signal of 300MHz from a VG40T remote control transmitter.
