KERUKUNAN DAN RESOLUSI KONFLIK DALAM TRADISI PESANTREN (STUDI PONDOK PESANTREN AL MUNAWWIR KRAPYAK YOGYAKARTA)

Abstract

A country with the variety of social circumstances are highly susceptible to a conflict. Indonesia has such condition and has to face a serious problem. It needed a skill to organize such social circumstances in order to make everyone lives safely, comfortably, serenity, and peacefully. But, our beloved country still faces various conflicts in society. People need to be taught early about the real conditions and circumstances of their country. Education in an Islamic boarding school has an important role in solving many conflicts in Indonesia. Islamic boarding school gives many contributions in creating peace and harmony in Indonesia, since colonial till this modern era. Such as creating religious values and harmony in their own region. This study is to describe the role of Islamic boarding school in creating harmony values and conflict resolution in their tradition (such the tradition in Al Munawwir's Islamic Boarding School Krapyak). This study found that education in Islamic boarding school has an enormous influence in creating peace, harmony, and conflict resolution to our social life.
