Abstract

Throughout the past century, hundreds of different surgical procedures have been described for the management of stress urinary incontinence. However, the sling procedure, despite its many variations, has maintained a constant presence in both the urologic and urogynecologic communities. © 2006 Springer-Verlag London Limited.
