Kontribusi Faktor Internal dan Eksternal Determinan Perilaku Terhadap Pemberian ASI Ekslusif Pada Bayi Baru Lahir

Abstract

ABSTRAK Sebanyak 193.000 anak Indonesia kehilangan kesempatan hidup dibawah usia 5 tahun meskipun AKB di dunia turun dalam sepuluh tahun terakhir. ASI merupakan sumber gizi yang paling sempurna, baik kualitas maupun kuantitasnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi faktor internal dan eksternal determinan perilaku dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif. Jenis penelitian ini analitik dengan desain Cross Sectional, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 62 responden. Analisis statistik menggunakan uji korelasi yaitu uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat 47 (75,8%) responden yang tidak memberikan ASI secara eksklusif. Adanya hubungan antara pengetahuan, persepsi, dukungan petugas kesehatan, dukungan orang terdekat dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif. Masyarakat lebih meningkatkan pengetahuan dengan aktif mengikuti penyuluhan tentang ASI eksklusif, dan Puskesmas diharapkan menerapkan strategi menuju keberhasilan menyusui ASI eksklusif. Kata Kunci: ASI Eksklusif, Faktor Internal dan Faktor Eksternal ABSTRAK As many as 193,000 Indonesian children have lost their chance of life before the age of 5, even though the world infant mortality rate has dropped in the last ten years. Breast milk is the perfect source of nutrition, both in quality and quantity. This study aims to determine the behavioral determinants of exclusive breastfeeding. This type of research uses analytic surveys with Cross-Sectional design, with a total sample of 62 mothers who have babies aged 7-12 months. Statistical analysis using the correlation test is the Chi-Square test. The results showed there were 47 (75.8%) respondents who did not exclusively breastfeed. There is a relationship between knowledge, perception, support of health workers, support of those closest to exclusive breastfeeding. The community will increase their awareness by actively participating in counseling about exclusive breastfeeding, and the Puskesmas is expected to implement ten steps towards breastfeeding success.
