Calculating the social impact of culture. A SROI application in a museum

Abstract

The paper presents an application of the SROI method to the case of culture and the social impacts of cultural institutions. The methodology is based on qualitative and quantitative evaluations and develops measurement proxies that refer back to financial measures, allowing to calculate the return in euros of a cultural investment.
