Abstract

Social media and the construction of social relationships have a particular connection and affect the development of personal character. Today’s media, acting as a communication tool and a public platform for understanding the world, has even become a necessity for office workers; also, social media is a platform to show the real people themselves. Social media has contributed to the change in relationships between people. People can divide their friends into different categories according to other social platforms. Social media can also impact people’s personalities, and young people prefer to make friends through social media. Adults and workers are more accustomed to using social media to maintain communication with customers, and parents are more likely to keep in touch with their children on social media. Social media can be more efficient to stay connected and help parents and children become friends because they communicate on social media platforms to close the gap between them.
