Abstract

Two new species of the mycetophilid and sciarid gnats, Exechia insularis and Chaetosciara takahashii, are described from Hachijô Island, Tokyo, Japan. Both of them are pests of cultivated shiitake mushroom. © 1992, JAPANESE SOCIETY OF APPLIED ENTOMOLOGY AND ZOOLOGY. All rights reserved.
