Abstract

This study introduces a serious game, "Break the Bricks", which is one of the games planned within the "StrokeBack" project. The aim of this game is to support the rehabilitation process of stroke patients whom have upper limb impairments and damaged psychomotor abilities. In this paper we will present the designing process and the development of the game. We would like to represent the background of serious games, and the planned test methods of "Break the Bricks". We will also delineate future plans and further work with this game. © 2012 Springer-Verlag.
