Abstract

The ST gas field is widely developed with sand bodies of tidal delta plain and front, and the distribution law is complex. Combined with core, well logging, and seismic data, the sequential indicator simulation with horizontal trend constraint, object-based stochastic simulation and multiple-point geostatistics simulation method are used to establish the sedimentary facies model of the target layer. Modeling practices show that: for geological modeling of tide-controlled delta reservoirs, the object-based stochastic simulation methods are used to generate the training image firstly, and then the multiple-point geostatistics simulation is used to characterize the reservoir sedimentary facies in the tide-controlled delta environment, which better reproduces the geometries of the tidal channel and the tidal bar, the prediction results are better.
