Abstract

Pesticide is a chemical substance and a mixture of other materials used to prevent and control various pests, one of which can be pesticides used to prevent and control pest attacks, namely using vegetable pesticides made from organic plants, namely soursop leaves which contain several active compounds such as annonain and acetogenic. The purpose of conducting socialization through real work lecture activities (KKN) is to provide knowledge about the benefits and importance of making vegetable pesticides that are environmentally friendly. The method used in this KKN uses observation survey methods, outreach, counseling and demonstrations. The results of the KKN activities as a whole series the stages that have been carried out received a positive response from the community, both farmer groups and the local government when socialization was carried out, counseling and demonstrations on the manufacture of vegetable pesticides made from soursop leaves. this KKN socialization and counseling activity is important to do in order to obtain maximum results in preventing and controlling plant pests which so far in pest control there are still many farmers using chemical pesticides that have risks that are harmful to living things and the surrounding environment when the chemical pesticide is applied it leaves residue on plants and soil
