Investigative competences of ideas generation: A Spreadsheet Experience

Abstract

The objective of the research was to determine the level of influence of the application of an organizer of research ideas systematized in a spreadsheet, in the investigative competences of postgraduate students of professional administration careers; being the specific objectives, to measure the level of investigative competences of postgraduate students of professional careers of administration before the use of the "Organizer of research ideas", to apply it in the process of methodological a dvice to the students selected as a sample, and to measure the results in the investigative competences of the selected students, after the application of the organizer of ideas. The perspective of the research was mixed, due to the fact that descriptive and correlational statistical calculations were carried out, being positivist, and the interpretation of the quantitative results is qualitative, being relativistic, being the experimental design, without a control group and with the phases of pre and post test. The results showed that the majority of students in the pre-test were at the lowest level in the indicators related to the precision of the variables and the coherence between the various aspects of the investigation, and subsequently the existence of an important growth in the generation investigative skills. It is concluded that the application of an organizer of research ideas systematized in a spreadsheet increases the investigative skills of postgraduate students of professional administration careers.
