Abstract

The article reports on the improvement of teaching as described and illustrated in action in the December 1968 issue of "Theory Into Practice," the journal of the College of Education of the Ohio State University. Interaction analysis, mircoteaching, nonverbal communication, and simulation are the four innovative techniques for the study and improvement of teaching. The techniques are discussed under the theme "A Workshop in the Analysis of Teaching." Authors of articles in the issue include Walter J. Mars, Donald R. Cruickshank, Edmund J. Amidon, and Charles M. Galloway.
