This chapter discusses the practice of regulating religious life by the government as a manifestation of Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa in public life by reviewing some policies that in nature are very supportive in endorsing and preserving religious orthodoxy in Indonesia. This is particularly clear following the issuance of a controversial Presidential Stipulation that was later known as the Indonesian Blasphemy Law.
