Teologi Kebangsaan: Sebuah Tafsir atas Sila Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa

Abstract

Since the last 2 (two) decades, Pancasila has received a sharp spotlight in the midst of its finality as the ideology of the Indonesian nation. This shows that the perspective on Pancasila has not depicted an encouraging and constructive trend. If it is specified again, then the spotlight actually leads to the first precept: "Belief in the One Supreme God". This first precept is always brought to the surface as a point of contention as if the discussion has not yet reached a mutual agreement from fellow com-ponents of the nation. The word 'Divinity' is the trigger. By using the qualitative-descriptive method, differences of opinion that develop in the community, both descriptively and normatively will be studied critically and constructively. It is a necessity to make the precepts of the One and Only God as a theological meeting point in the frame of national theology.  AbstrakSejak 2 (dua) dekade terakhir ini, Pancasila mendapat sorotan yang tajam di tengah finalitasnya sebagai ideologi bangsa Indonesia. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa cara pandang terhadap Pancasila belum menggambarkan trend menggembirakan dan konstruktif. Bila dispesifikan lagi, maka sorotan tersebut sebenarnya mengarah pada sila pertama: “Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa”. Sila pertama ini selalu diangkat ke permukaan sebagai titik tengkar, seolah-olah pembahasannya belum juga mencapai kesepakatan ber-sama dari sesama komponen bangsa. Kata ‘Ketuhanan’ menjadi pemicunya. Dengan menggunakan me-tode kualitatif-deskriptif, perbedaan-perbedaan pendapat yang berkembang di tengah-tengah masyarakat, baik secara deskriptif maupun normatif akan dikaji secara kritis dan konstruktif. Adalah sebuah kenis-cayaan menjadikan sila Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa sebagai titik temu teologis dalam bingkai teologi kebangsaan.
