Abstract

Machine Abstract Machine Learning (ML) is a subdiscipline of Artificial Intelligence (AI) dedicated to provide computers the ability to learn, self-learn, and generalize database behaviors, and begins to gain strength in the health industry. This article mentions some of the contributions that Machine Learning has developed in the area of health, especially in chronic diseases such as diabetes, cancer, and Alzheimer’s, of which some examples of advances are described. It is considered that ML could become a great ally of primary prevention and health care during the coming years.
