Abstract

We present a novel audio information hiding scheme based on robust message authentication code (rMAC). By combining coefficient quantization based information hiding scheme with rMAC and chaotic encryption, proposed scheme can ensure the content integrity and the confidentiality of the embedded audio as well as secret communication. Experimental results show that our scheme provides highly robust authentication against content preserving degradations. When 30 % noise added into the transporting message, 92.50 % audio communication can also succeed. © 2013 Springer-Verlag.
