Abstract

This paper is a theoretical reflection articulated to an empirical research on contemporary work and trans people in the context of the globalization of capital. Its analytical direction throws light on the social inferiorization of the trans bodies as a structural necessity of contemporary capitalism. From a feminist and critical-dialectical perspective, the article seeks to examine how trans people inscribe themselves in the new morphology of work, in its Brazilian face, comprising the mediation of patriarchy in the relation between (transphobic) discrimination and the work trajectories of trans people.
