Abstract

Annual TDS loads for 2,560 water quality stations was modeled with SPARROW to relate dissolved solids to geological, road and land use sources. There loads were modifed by pptn, soils, vegetation, terrain, population, irrigation and artifificial drainages. Geological sources dominated 89% of the watersheds. Urban lands dominated 2% and cultivated fields dominated 1%.
