Abstract

Whether recreational diving can cause brain lesions and/or neuropsychological impairment has been the subject of several studies, but an unequivocal consensus opinion has not yet been established. This article reviews some of the research on structural brain changes and neuropsychological testing in divers and focuses on recreational diving. © 2008 Urban & Vogel.
