V//2Hf-based Laves phase compounds are very attractive superconductors for fusion reactor magnet use due to their promising combination of high upper critical fields. The paper describes the dependence of superconducting properties on the composition of Zr-hf alloy core and the formation temperature of V//2(Hf,Zr) layer in the multifilamentary wire.
