Abstract

It is now generally accepted that an adequate computational theory of the cognitive map must include multiple representations for knowledge of space. This third section of the book discusses implementations, with physical or simulated robots, of such theories of the cognitive map. © 2007 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
