Abstract

The review discusses the current status of many economically important pseudomonads. Majority of which are Pseudomonas spp., but Acidovorax, Burkholderia and Ralstonia spp. are also included. Some relevant taxonomic issues are presented, and possible emerging threats (e.g. use of new cultivars, change of agricultural practices and climatic changes) are emphasized.
