This paper explores the response of two copolyesters of p-hydroxy-benzoic acid (PHB) and polyethyleneterephthalate (PET) under various transient flow conditions. The paper also looks qualitatively at Ericksen's transversely isotropic fluid theory to see if it can predict some of the observed response of these fluids.
