Abstract

We present a nonlinear mathematical model of dopamine-modulated prefrontal-limbic interactions in schizophrenia, including discrete time delays. An extensive stability and bifurcation analysis is undertaken in a neighborhood of the positive equilibrium of the system. The results reveal the importance of time delays in modulating dopamine reactivity.
