The Fitz-Hugh-Curtis Syndrome is a perihepatitis secondary to peritonitis caused by ascending bacteria from a pelvic inflammatory disease. During the chronic phase may be observe adherences between the abdominal wall and the liver surface characterized by a "violin string" similarity. This image is considered criterion for the diagnosis. A case of incidental Fitz-Hugh-Curtis syndrome observed during a routinely abdominopelvic cavity inspection at the end of a laparoscopic hysterectomy is presented.
