Decision Support System For The Selection Of Life Insurance On Life's Diverse Indonesia PT Pematangsiantar Using Moora

Abstract

The development of the insurance business in Indonesia can be guaranteed to be quite good, where this can confuse prospective customers in choosing to choose insurance that suits their wants and needs. Life insurance is an insurance service that is used as a form of protection against the emergence of financial losses or loss of income (the insured) which is usually a source of income foe the family. Computer based information system can be used in solving problems in the form of decision making which is often referred to as a decision support system that can help everyone in making a choice about a problem faced. Methods that can be used in selecting life insurance at PT Bhinneka Life Indonesia is using the Multi Objective Optimalization on the basis of Ratio Analysis (MOORA) method. The results of this system in the form of sorting data on life insurance products that are used as a tool in decision making for prospective customers and are done ranking to get the best result.
