Abstract

This chapter provides an overview of the performance and progress of privatization of state-owned enterprises (SOEs) in Vietnam. Interviews with selected market participants in the SOE privatization process highlight key issues and obstacles that impede the process and pose clear opportunities for government reform to improve and speed up the process.
